Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Court 2023-2024

  1. Tiny Miss Hispanic Heritage Meilani Isable Yac-Johnson is 4 years old and from Selma, North Carolina. She lives with her parents, Mark Yac & Heather Johnson.  Meilani enjoys doing gymnastics, playing soccer, and playing with princesses. She loves spending time with her family and is proud of her Guatemalan heritage. 
  1. Tiny Princess Hispanic Heritage of Johnston County Jaylene Lugo Cruz. Jaylene is 4 years old and from Selma, North Carolina.  She lives with her parents, Crystal and Misael Lugo, older brother Jayden, and grandmother. She is a proud Mexican American; her father is from Hidalgo, and her mother is from Guanajuato. She attends Thanksgiving Elementary, where she enjoys learning new things and playing with friends.  She loves to go to the beach with her family and play with her primo JJ. 
  1. Little Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Maddy J. Clark is 7 years old. She is from Selma and attends Selma Elementary School.  Maddy lives at home with her mom, Candice Ortiz. Her father is Steve Clark. She enjoys playing sports and cheering for Selma Parks and Recreation. Maddy is proud to represent her Puerto Rican Heritage to the community.
  1. Junior Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County London Marie Granados is 9 years old and lives in  Pine Level, North Carolina. London attends Pine Level Elementary School and enjoys Spending time with her parents, Tomas Granados Sr. mom Latarsha Jett Granados, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Her Hobbies are Baking, Caring for animals, and treasure hunts for ancient items. She is proud to represent her Mexican and African-American Heritage.
  1. Teen Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Maya Blanco is 16 years old and is from Princeton, North Carolina. She is a 10th grader at Princeton High School. She has a deep passion for sports and work, and you’ll often find her at the gym; working out is her favorite hobby. Maya lives with her mom, Maria Rosa Gonzalez, three dogs, and a flock of chickens. 
  1. Miss Hispanic Heritage Johnston County Joanna Perez is  17 years old. She is from Selma, North Carolina, and attends  Smithfield Selma High School.  She is proud and honored to be a Mexican American. Joanna lives with her mother, Maria Lara, and father, Jesus Perez. Both of her parents come from Guanajuato, Mexico. She enjoys dancing, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling.
